The LOEWE project CoroPan will be funded by the Hessian Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and the Arts (HMWK) with approximately € 4.5 M. The project tackles molecular mechanisms of coronavirus replication with the ultimate aim of identifiying conserved targets for new therapeutic strategies. CoroPan is led by Justus Liebig University Gießen (speaker: Prof. Dr. John Ziebuhr), EMTHERA researcher Sandra Ciesek from Goethe University Frankfurt acts as co-speaker. Additional partners are situated at Philipps University Marburg.
