Harald Schwalbe, professor at the Institute for Organic Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Goethe University Frankfurt, director of the Instruct-ERIC and member of the EMTHERA network, has been awarded with the Richard R. Ernst Prize for Magnetic Resonance at the EUROMAR 2022 in Utrecht, The Netherlands – the European Conference on Magnetic Resonance. The award is based on Professor Schwalbe's pioneering contributions to the development and application of novel methods in biomolecular NMR spectroscopy. The prize comes along with 15.000 € and is sponsored by Bruker Corporation, a manufacturer of analytical instruments.
