On May 17th close to 100 scientists met at the first EMTHERA minisymposium in Frankfurt. The highly interdisciplinary program included computational modeling, medical chemistry, economics, clinical infectiology and immunology. The day was filled with inspiring talks and intensive discussions and exchange. It was a successful first milestone for the EMTHERA concortium strengthening the unity between Mainz and Frankfurt.
